That's why I updated the article with the following change but your point is made.

"Olympic Weightlifting is not a sport that has nearly as much written about it as say, powerlifting or bodybuilding, at least not in the US. "

Lyle, your statement infers that you think that it's the case elsewhere, but is definitely the case in the US. Attack someone for being pedantic, but don't then go defend your imprecise usage of ENGLISH.

For example

“Soccer is not a sport that has nearly as much written about it as say, hockey or softball, at least not in the US."

Which must have been why I wrote:

"Olympic Weightlifting is not a sport that has nearly as much written about it as say, powerlifting or bodybuilding, at least not in the US. "

What's that last phrase say, Lee? IN THE US.

Gee, it's almost as if I was very specific in what I said and meant and you're just being a pedantic twat. Who is also wrong in your pedantry. And I say that as someone who is often a pedantic twat myself.

Because, see, I'm writing in ENGLISH for an ENGLISH speaking audience (by and large). So the fact that there is stuff in Polish and Russian or whatever isn't really relevant.

This review is not completely accurate in comments referring to paucity of material on OW; not true-- it is the most widely participated strength sport in the world, also the most written about, albeit--true enough, not in English. Minor correction.
